I love that networks have started streaming their shows in earnest this season. If your VCR/DVR/TiVo malfunctions, or if the networks have cruelly overscheduled a particular time period, you can watch your shows at your leisure. Even the CW is doing it, which is impressive, considering that, you know, they're the CW. And although the CBS video player is crashy, you've got to respect them for trying. And more shows are being added every day. Fox is streaming the entire season of The Winner, just like NBC is doing with Andy Barker, P.I. - and NBC has announced that they're going to stream the full seasons of Heroes and Friday Night Lights. I know at least one person who'd been waiting for the full-season DVD set of Heroes to get caught up, so that's a good call on NBC's part. NBC has certainly been using their streaming video savvily this season, using it to drum up interest in new shows like Friday Night Lights and 30 Rock. Somehow, it didn't work for Studio 60 - perhaps because of a certain internet-hating showrunner.
